Terms of Service

The parties

This agreement is between:

You (the 'Merchant') — the company or individual accessing Clan's services.

Froiden Technologies Private Limited ('Clan') — a company registered under the Companies Act, having its registered office at B-06, Mahalaxmi Nagar, Malviya Nagar, Jaipur – 302017, India.

By using Clan, you agree to the terms set out in this document.

Accepting these terms

You accept these terms by:

If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use Clan. You must be at least 18 years old and have the authority to enter into this agreement on behalf of your organisation.

Using Clan

Clan provides an HR management platform for businesses. You may use Clan only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these terms.

You agree not to:

• Use Clan to store or transmit unlawful or harmful content
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the system
• Reverse-engineer, copy, or resell any part of Clan
• Use the service in a way that disrupts other users

Your account

You are responsible for:

• Keeping your login credentials secure
• All activity that occurs under your account
• Ensuring your account information is accurate and up to date

If you suspect unauthorised access to your account, contact support@clan.biz immediately.

Payment and billing

Clan offers subscription plans priced per employee per month. By subscribing, you agree to:

• Pay the applicable fees for your chosen plan
• Provide accurate payment information
• Renew automatically unless you cancel before your renewal date

Refund requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Contact support@clan.biz within 7 days of a charge if you have a billing concern.

Service availability

We aim for 99.9% uptime. However, Clan may occasionally be unavailable due to:

• Scheduled maintenance (we will notify you in advance)
• Events outside our control (force majeure)
• Emergency security patches

We will communicate any planned downtime via email and in-app notification at least 24 hours in advance where possible.

Intellectual property

Clan and all associated software, designs, and content are owned by Froiden Technologies Private Limited. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive licence to use Clan for your internal business purposes.

Your data remains yours. We do not claim ownership over any employee records, payroll data, or other content you upload to Clan.

Termination

Either party may terminate this agreement:

• You can cancel your subscription at any time. Your access continues until the end of your paid period.
• We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these terms, with notice where possible.

On termination, you can request a full data export within 30 days. After that, your data will be deleted.

Limitation of liability

Clan is provided 'as is'. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Froiden Technologies is not liable for:

• Indirect or consequential losses
• Loss of data due to your own actions
• Losses arising from third-party service failures

Our total liability to you in any 12-month period shall not exceed the amount you paid us in that period.

• In-app ticket system: available from your Clan dashboard

We aim to respond to all support requests within one business day.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Jaipur, Rajasthan.
