Is ClanMate a separate chatbot product?
No. ClanMate is AI that works inside Clan — same modules, same records, same permission model. There is no parallel AI database and no product beside Clan.
Does ClanMate bypass roles or approval chains?
No. ClanMate only sees what the signed-in user is allowed to see, and denies the rest clearly. It does not bypass your existing leave, attendance, payroll, or approval workflows.
What can ClanMate do today?
Today ClanMate is a permission-aware Q&A assistant. It answers from live leave balances and history, attendance summaries and holidays, the employee directory (within scope), projects you are on, payslips and salary structure where permitted, and company policy / how-to search — all as safe, read-only queries.
What is Coming soon?
Action agents that apply leave, clear approval queues, request attendance regularisation, handle expense or timesheet actions, and compare payroll month-over-month — always with confirm-before-change. Those write tools are on the roadmap, not shipped yet.
