What is Clan Documents?
Clan Documents is a built-in file library for HR and admins. Create folders, upload policies and handbooks, preview files in the app, and browse employee-linked documents in a structured tree — all without leaving Clan.
Can employees upload or edit files in Documents?
Company folders are managed by people with Documents permission. Linked employee documents are read-only in the library; edits stay on the original Clan screens such as the employee profile, Letters, and Policies.
Who can access Documents by default?
Documents is admin-only by default. Other roles get access only when granted in Roles & Permissions.
What file types can I preview in-app?

Where do linked employee documents come from?
